Thai Street Chicken

Crispy skin & intense flavours... what more could you ask for. This chicken recipe is inspired by my childhood, living in Thailand, & is perfect accompanied by rice & my Som Tam recipe, the link for which you can find here: https://www.ladyhatawa.com/post/fiery-som-tam



4 Servings


Ingredients:

1 kg Chicken Thighs

8 tbsp light soy sauce

4 tbsp dark soy sauce

2 tbsp fish sauce

4 tbsp sugar

4 cloves of garlic, crushed with the side of a knife


Instructions:

Heat oven to 200c.

Mix all ingredients and marinate chicken for 1-2 hours.

Remove chicken from marinade & place on an oven tray.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Raise oven heat to 220c & drain any liquid that may have formed in the pan.

Bake for another 20 minutes.
