Moroccan Meatballs

These delicious meatballs with their harissa drizzle are divine accompanied by tabbouleh, the recipe for which you can find in this blog.

4-6 Servings
Meatball Ingredients:
500gr minced beef or lamb
1 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, finely grated
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp ras-el-hanout
S&P
1 egg
Harissa Sauce Ingredients:
400ml tinned chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp ras-el-hanout
1 tsp harissa
S&P
Instructions:
Heat oven to 180. Combine all meatball ingredients well, using your hands to ensure all ingredients are mixed in evenly.
Roll into medium sized meatballs & bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked.
Combine the sauce ingredients in a small pot & bring to boil. simmer 3 minutes and then pass through a sieve to remove all lumps.
Drizzle sauce over meatballs when serving.
